Ghoulie's Grid
Welcome to the Ghoulie's Grid! Navigate the grid by taping or charging forward with a swipe, but be cautious of the Ghoulies that move along side you. Every two moves use your power to take on the Ghoulies, charge at them and use available power-ups strategically to clear the board and climb this hexed tower!
Objective & Combat Loop
- Charge Attack: Charge across the grid up to 3 spaces hitting monsters in your charge, power dictates damege and defense and rolls every two turns, score points equail to the enemies health multiplied by how many are killed in a charge.
- Combat Rules: Hitting equal value monsters kills them but costs -1 health. Hitting superior monsters costs health matching the exact value gap, but permanently drains their power by your turn value. Clear all enemies on a board layer to progress floors!
Power-Up Artifact Key
- HEART (❤️): Grants +1 points straight into your Health. Cap limits are disabled, allowing health to scale infinitely!
- SHUFFLE (🌀): Scrambles all active monsters and tiles across open interior cells safely without erasing them.
- FREEZE (❄️): Freezes enemies in place, denying all enemy movements for 3 turns.
- FLAME (🔥): Burns all enemies, weakening their power stats by 3 points for 3 turns.
- CRYSTAL (🔮): Channels a magical purple aura that increases player combat power by +3 points for 4 operational turns.
- COIN (🪙): Instantly awards +15 bonus points directly into your active score pool.
Ghoulish Bestiary (Movement Patterns)
- 💀 Skeleton: Sneaky skeletons that hunt you by sliding one single tile diagonally in any direction. They spawn frequently.
- 🦠 Slimewad: A blob of ectoplasm that gyrates back and forth one or two tiles straight up or down vertically.
- 😈 Necrofiend: Dangerous stalkers that warp around walls by traveling in a chess-like L-shape pattern (2 steps one way, 1 step orthogonal).
- 👻 Ghost: Ghost can fly across the whole board horizontally and vertically, along their current row or column.
- 🧟 Ghoul: Beware the Ghouls who can move diagonally across the whole board to corner you.
